We require a Land Manager with experience of Private treaty land buying to support our existing team in the Birmingham / East Midlands office.
At Lovell we work with Private purchasers, local authorities and housing associations to create sustainable communities and leave a positive legacy wherever we work. We develop new housing both for Open Market sales and Design and build for Local Authorities and RP’s, construct and refurbish people’s homes and create homes for rent, shared ownership and open market sale. Lovell’s expertise is creating large-scale and social renewal throughout the country.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities
- Identifying evaluating and securing land/sites for residential development on the most cost-effective basis.
- Identify land and partnership opportunities suitable for a mixture of uses and tenures in accordance with the Midlands Business Plans.
- Ensuring the company’s commercial interests are best served
- Supporting the region in the identification of risks and the application of the Commercial Standing Instructions during the identification, bidding and acquisition of land
- Ensuring that commercial and development opportunities are optimised and the company’s position is always suitably protected.
- Keeping abreast of best practice and innovations and relevant technical and planning policy; report on the likely impact to the pursuit of continuous improvement and land purchase
- Exploring opportunities with Morgan Sindall Group companies
Experience within the Housing Industry sector to identify land opportunities for residential development for private treaty and land led opportunities. Experience of developing land offers on a stand-alone basis and also in conjuction with internal departments to formulate the most competitive offering.
