Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Social Value & Sustainability Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals.

We are looking for Social Value & Sustainability Managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.

We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.

Responsibilities:

As a pre-construction Social Value & Sustainability Manager, you will:

  • Take responsibility for delivering specific tasks, goals and objectives.
  • Work under direction but will be able to work without day to day support.
  • Be expected to work proactively and deliver defined tasks to an industry standard.
  • Manage your own tasks within the context of a project or company objective.
  • Take day to day decisions on your own but will refer significant decisions.
  • Be accountable for the performance of the Midlands business against set targets.

You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and be highly competent in MS suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign software. You will possess a comprehensive understanding of EDI, supply chain arrangements, responsible businesses, education frameworks and be proficient with LM3. You will also have a Full UK driving licence.

About the Slough Team:

The Thames Valley office covers the M40 / M3 corridor and was created in 2017 to capitalise on our partnership arrangement with Slough Council. The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to over 50 people and is focused on early stage project management to create efficient solutions for customers. Our focus is on public buildings and with an extensive local authority and unive.
