The Midlands region are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in the Midlands to help in assisting in the delivery of a variety of schemes / projects.

The successful candidate will report to a Quantity Surveyor /Senior Quanitty Surveyor. They will be expected to be competent in standard surveying duties such measurement, drawing take offs and understand specifications/building products. The candidate should be able to apply themselves in a professional environment, liaise with clients, subcontractors and have the confidence to go out to projects/properties when required to. The position will involve working within a busy Quantity Surveying department on new build and refurbishment schemes.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 6 GCSE's grade C or above and although not essential the preference would be for the candidate to have 2-3 A Levels again grade C or above, alternatively a college equivalent would be desirable.
Excellent communication skills are essential to this role and the candidate must be able to adapt within an existing young vibrant team. The candidate must also be enthusiastic and have the drive to learn and the ambition to build and progress on their career with Lovell.
