We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious supply chain manager to join our growing construction North West team based in Manchester.
Responsibilities:
As supply chain manager you will:
- Be responsible for maximising value to Morgan Sindall through the structured management and development of the subcontract supply chain.
- Lead the implementation of the Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Strategy,
- Lead the development of the Business Unit Supply Chain Plan.
You will provide high quality support and advice to Contracts on supply chain engagement, from tendering through to selection and award. Provide support developing appropriate Contract Strategies to meet Morgan Sindall Group Responsible Procurement and Sustainability requirements. You will also provide supply chain management, including performance monitoring, reporting supply chain activities, and promoting social impact activity across the supply chain.
You will have a membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent qualification and you will have an understanding of sub-contract and supplier terms and conditions. You will have had experience in procurement, supply chain or a commercial role and you will have relevant experience and knowledge of both subcontract and materials procurement practices and processes
