Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Journalist & Knowledge Manager.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated Journalist & Knowledge professionals.
We are looking for people who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.
Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Journalist & Knowledge Manager you will:
- Journalism and research | visit projects and communities and interview the relevant people to capture the innovations, stories, data, and facts that bring our construction projects to life
- Knowledge management | write up the stories, facts, evidence and bring these into our knowledge management system for the marketing and work winning teams to use
- Communications | Support the internal and external communications platforms ensuring that the stories you find are curated into case studies, blogs and insight pieces that can be amplified through social, web and work winning platforms
Already experienced as a Journalist & Knowledge Manager you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant. The ability to work in a team environment contributing across a business unit or area good management skills with the ability to motivate employees to achieve high standards of compliance. Thorough understanding of corporate strategy, values, and objectives. Be self-motivated, to constantly improve upon established safety standards.
