Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Managing Quantity Surveyor.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated commercial staff.
We are looking for senior quantity surveyors who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.
Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a managing quantity surveyor you will:
- Manage and control the commercial aspects of projects.
Already experienced as a managing quantity surveyor, you will be educated to BSc or HND in quantity surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject and you will preferably be CIOB or RICS accredited. You will have a comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation and you will be used to working on your own initiative with knowledge of the procurement of sub-contractors and the monthly measurement cycle associated with this.
