We are pleased to be recruiting for a Site Manager posts to support our new & existing contracts within the Midlands area to undertake housing retrofit works but may be required to work on any contract within the wider Region.

Long established in affordable housing, Lovell is the nation’s complete housing specialist and we’re dedicated to delivering excellence in everything we do. Our business has 3 main strands including new build house for sale on the open market (Lovell Homes), design & build new social housing for RPs and LAs in addition to a full spectrum of Planned Maintenance refurbishment & energy retrofit works.

The role will also require emphasis on PAS2035:2019 standard so candidates should hold experience in PAS2030 QMS and be comfortable talking to installers, system designers and retrofit co-ordinators to ensure strict compliance with retrofit designs and specifications.

The Role will ensure effective delivery of site operations, effective planning/programming and sequencing of works, liaison between Customers and the operatives/sub-contractors to ensure completion of the project on time, to the highest quality and attend to defects as and when required.

Maintaining a high standard of  health, safety and environmental. Managing the process using the Lovell procedures.  Monitoring and controlling sub-contractors  progress  against programme to achieve required results. Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be focussed on ensuring that we deliver a first class service to our Client.

The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge and experience of PAS2035 & PAS2030:2019 being fully compliant with Health & safety legislation and strict adherence to company quality management systems.

The candidate must have a broad experience in all aspects of Planned Maintenance in occupied homes, and sound knowledge of general building works and retrofit in particular.

Be a good organiser, leader, man-manager, have a ‘can-do’ proactive attitude and work well with the Client to deliver a successful contract. Technically minded to review and understand drawings and details and ensure that the works are fully compliant. The candidate must be a good clear communicator, have excellent people skills, be Client facing and have good programming, planning and organisational skills.
