We are currently seeking to appoint a Bid Writer to supplement our refurbishment bid team within the Midlands region. 

Long established in affordable housing, Lovell’s housing ‘offer’ has evolved in recent years to provide a truly diverse  solution.  Lovell is the nation’s complete housing specialist and we’re dedicated to delivering excellence in everything we do in both new build and planned maintenance/refurb projects.

The role will be to produce and oversee the quality side of the winning tender submissions that are concise and compelling to read. 

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Refurbishment Director and compose bespoke bid responses/submissions that are of the highest quality to maximise our bid opportunities. 

You should be creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about the work promoting the business and produce ‘winning’ and compelling quality bid submissions for the wider region.  You must be able to review the bid opportunities and collate and produce material that will add value to the bids.   Strong analytical and research skills and an aptitude for language and grammar is essential.  You should be able to improve and update existing ‘boiler plate’ text and proof all final submissions.

Strong IT literacy is vital in a range of software such as Microsoft Office, InDesign, Visio and Client Relationship Management systems.

The role will include supporting the business with PR, marketing and promotional activity.
