The role:

Site Agent reporting to the Project Manager for larger projects or taking accountability for minor projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion.

The position is focused on delivery of Civils biased projects within existing facilities on the Sellafield nuclear licensed site. The works shall be delivered in a highly regulate environment, ensuring compliance with Sellafield ltd procedures, collaborative management plans and local site arrangements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the site maintains high standards of HSEQ with the correct method statements and risk assessments in place to carry out the work.
  • Manage site work to ensure client satisfaction and ensure that all quality requirements are fulfilled, and the appropriate quality records are maintained by the site and engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background and appreciation of other major disciplines.
  • Experienced Site Agent looking to progress with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Experienced in management of cost, schedule and contracts. Demonstrate an understanding of the NEC3 ECC contract arrangements.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to work and an appreciation of considerations when holding responsibility for managing both customer and contract organisation requirements and needs.
  • Be able to successfully demonstrate management of sub-contractor or Self-Delivery tasks
  • Temporary Works Coordinator training or strong awareness

A 20-year partnership, PPP was established by Sellafield Ltd through contracts with Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR), Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and Doosan Babcock Ltd in 2019, to revolutionise project delivery at Sellafield and create a lasting legacy.

Future opportunities within our Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA). The ISA provides Sellafield Ltd with the capability and capacity to deliver a growing programme of infrastructure projects required for an aging asset portfolio. The alliance is mainly aimed at protecting and developing the utility assets; however, it also has scope for a number of non-utility asset projects as well.

A diverse and growing portfolio with our Clyde Commercial Framework (CCF). The CCF programme ensures that the teams responsible for delivering the UK’s Continuous at Sea Deterrent (CASD) are able to live work and train in safe, state of the art facilities. The framework delivers cost effective infrastructure solutions to enable HMNB Clyde to continue to endure in its new role as the Royal Navy’s Single Integrated Operating Base.
