SETTING THE STANDARD FOR CLIENT DELIVERY

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills to help us lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages in the rail sector, with the opportunity to get involved in other sectors including science and technology, waste to energy, aviation and healthcare.

Alongside technical skill, the role will allow you to develop strong client relationship and commercial skills by interfacing closely with clients through coordinating the design delivery across a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and contractors while functioning as the CRE for these projects.

Why this team?

  • Significant focus on sustainability and actively driving this agenda throughout projects
  • Innovative digital developments that challenge the status quo
  • You'll join a dynamic, close-knit, supportive team of varying skills and disciplines
  • Opportunity to step into CEM (Contractors Engineering Manager) capacity

Joining us will not only give you the opportunity to work on some of the most inspiring projects, but also allow you the freedom to work autonomously, take ownership of your area and input into the growth of this team - potentially managing teams locally as well as the wider UK.

By giving our people the freedom to be creative, we will produce work that continuously redefines quality across our firm.

About you

  • General Civils design experience within Rail, with a good understanding of the following:
    Rail and associated infrastructure
    Drainage
    Foundations
Understanding of Earthworks and site investigations
External hardstanding’s; minor road and bridge design
  • Lead or performed the CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer) role in medium-large projects for your discipline
  • Chartered Engineer (or in process) and degree qualified in Civil structural engineering (or Equivalent)

Whatever the role or specialism, our people are passionate about what they do, they believe in our values and are happy to come to work every day. And this is why people choose to work here and stay.
