Job Title: Section Engineer - Civil Construction

Location: Sellafield

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and challenging civil construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with the ability to lead and manage teams of engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, and oversee the execution of construction projects
  • Manage, motivate, and lead a team of engineers and technicians
  • Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team
  • Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors and suppliers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in civil construction, with experience in managing teams
  • Strong technical skills in construction methods, materials, and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
