Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy Water business for an ambitious and talented Pre-Contract Author.
As pre contract author you will source, collate, and write high value new and retained tenders for the company whilst raising Morgan Sindall’s profile via exceptional quality tender submissions.
We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Pre-Contract Author you will:
Experience of working within a technical preconstruction environment;
Infrastructure experience of underground cable, overhead line and water projects beneficial.
Experience of working within a time pressured environment of bidding and working alongside bid managers and subject matter experts to provide robust qualitative and technical written responses.
High level of writing capability and use of Microsoft office suite packages.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
The ability to run workshops.
Excellent written and oral communication to concisely filter information.
The ability to "own" bid writing responses from conception through to submission, working unsupervised, with the drive to find solutions.
The ability to respond proactively to collaboration, innovation and novel scenarios to position a winning bid.
About the Energy Water Team:
Our teams work within the nuclear, energy and water sectors working helping customers them make the most of their existing assets as well as building new assets to continually improve the UK’s energy and water infrastructure. We do this by putting our customers first, using innovative ideas and challenging the status quo.
