About the project:

 

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has an exciting opportunity for a trainee linesman to join our experienced OHL teams on NG projects 400kV on a site based Nationwide. 

To install and maintain high voltage overhead power transmission lines, whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity are achieved at all times.

 

 

What will you
be doing?

 

You will be part of a site team, working along site experienced colleagues to:

Install, build and refurbish overhead power lines up to 400kV. 

Maintain and develop new skills and competencies in accordance with National Grid, Morgan Sindall standards and legislative changes. 

Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Morgan Sindall and its clients. 

Work as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient implementation of Morgan Sindall operations. 

Maintain site safety at all times and complete daily risk assessments where required. 

Conform to all instructions stated in Risk assessments and Guidance Notes: 

Ensure that accidents and near misses are promptly reported. 

Complete all work to high quality standards.

 

 

What qualifications
do I require?

 

 

Five Grades or equivalent of 9 – 4 grades, including Math’s, English and a Science.
