Machine Operator (civils)

We are seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Operator with a track record of operating both under and over 10 ton tracked/wheeled machines in nuclear environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to excavate and move materials, as well as ensuring the safety of themselves and those around them.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 360 excavator under and over 10 ton tracked/wheeled machines in a nuclear environment
• Ensure safety of yourself and others in the workplace
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of machinery
• Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Operate machinery to excavate and move materials
• Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating 360 excavator under and over 10 ton tracked/wheeled machines in a nuclear environment
• Must have a valid CPCS or NPORS card
• Must have a strong understanding of nuclear safety protocols and procedures
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work well as part of a team
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, as needed
