Role:

The Start-Up Support reports to the SRP Start Up Support Lead.  They will carry out a range of tasks to support the SRP Start-Up Team, utilising the required systems and associated practices through the life cycle of the project, to ensure effective delivery of support to the Start-Up Support Lead  

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to facilitate the following:
  • TCA/FOB tracking/monitoring and Reporting and driving closure
  • Collation of Commissioning Work Packages
  • Collate information for Raw Data Files for Commissioning Test Documentation
  • Commissioning Handover Certificates and supporting Handover Packs
  • CTD through appropriate Review Committee, e.g CDAG, CSC.
  • Quality checks of CTD results
  • Review of Staged Commissioning Reports
  •  Review of Safety Transfer Certificate and supporting lifetime records
  • Monitor training / SQEP status of commissioning team
  • Update/maintain Commissioning tracking systems to ensure full and accurate records are kept and auditable.
  • Carry out audits to ensure compliance of all systems across the Start-Up Team, e.g., drawing configuration, FOBs, TCAs, CTD, etc
  • Monitor/update/maintain Training/SQEP status of Start-Up team (including Contractors), including prompting of what/when training required.
  • Understand the vision, goals, and strategies to deliver SRP Start-Up Programme a to support successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance & tracking control of Commissioning Test Documents in accordance with Site Licence 21.
  • Resource Management Support
  • Sharing LFE & Cross Project Communications
  • Inputting progress into Plant Test Schedule enabling accurate performance monitoring.
  • SRP Start-Up KPI reporting

·       Monitoring and Tracking of Escalations & Actions

·       Weekly/Monthly Project Reports for Commissioning Activities

To thrive in the role you will have:

·        Able to work within part of a team

·        Understand Quality Assurance of associated project records

·        Understand Site Licence Condition 21 arrangements

·        Auditing, surveillance and reporting of work activities

·        Care and maintenance arrangements of plant & equipment

·        On-boarding of new starters (and manage off-boarding arrangements)

 

You may also have: 

·       Have nuclear sector experience, including working within large scale projects.

·       Working knowledge of effective Health & Safety arrangements

·       Able to travel to on occasion and as required, to other work locations such as Risley and works test facilities.
