A bit about what you’d be doing

Accurate and timely processing of monthly payrolls from start to finish, including:

 

·       Processing Starters/Leavers/Changes

·       Calculation and checking of payroll

·       Prepare monthly reports for approval

·       Providing payslips/dealing with employee/business queries

·       Submitting HMRC RTI returns

·       Monthly reconciliation and payment of: PAYE, Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work Scheme, Share save Scheme, Pension, Court Orders

 

Maintain good employee & company records.

Work closely with People Team and other Major Stakeholders (MD’s/FC’s)

Confidentiality – GDPR.

Creating a good customer experience for all points of contact – internal and external.

The skills we need you to bring

A good understanding of UK Tax/National Insurance Legislation – ability to perform manual calculations

Some knowledge of payrolling benefits in kind.

A working knowledge of Automatic Enrolment into Pension, Pension Regulator duties, with occupational Pension Scheme.

You’ll need to be competent in Microsoft Office – Excel/Word/Adobe
