Who We Are Looking For:

Are you an experienced Senior Planner with a strong background in Civil's Construction? If you have a comprehensive understanding of the entire construction process, from design and procurement to installation, and can confidently tackle EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, we want to hear from you.

Join our dynamic team within the Sellafield Programme and Project Partners (PPP) framework, where we have formed a strategic alliance with Sellafield Limited. As a Senior Planner, you will play a pivotal role in Construction Management, working in collaboration with our partner, Morgan Sindall.

Key Requirements:

  • Civil Construction Expertise: You should have practical experience in civil construction projects, from start to finish.
  • EPC Project Knowledge: A strong grasp of EPC projects and the ability to effectively engage with key delivery partners is highly preferred.
  • Primavera P6 Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Primavera P6 software is expected, allowing you to manage complex project schedules with precision.
  • BIM and 3D Modelling: An understanding of 3D BIM models and the capability to use them for detailed reporting and visualization are essential.
  • NEC Experience: You should have hands-on experience with NEC contracts, change management, and regular program acceptance.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning Management: Provide expert planning management and support for both pre-contract and contract operations.
  • Bid and Project Coordination: Collaborate with bid and construction teams to effectively manage and control the planning and programming aspects of bid proposals and multiple ongoing projects.
  • Construction Program Management: Create, manage, and update construction programs, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Change Event Management: Efficiently incorporate change events into the construction program and work closely with the commercial team to secure full entitlement under the contract.
  • Design and Procurement Tracking: Keep a close eye on design deliverables and update procurement schedules to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): Utilize EVM and reporting processes to maintain project performance transparency.
  • Risk Management: Proactively employ Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and effectively manage project risks.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor and coach to assistant planners and planners, fostering professional growth within the team.

Location and Flexibility:

The role is primarily based at the Sellafield Site, where you will collaborate closely with the project delivery team and manage key partner interfaces. We offer the flexibility of one or two days of remote work, subject to agreement with the project team.

Why Join Us:

This is an exceptional opportunity to expand your expertise on a complex project that heavily utilizes 4D visualization and 3D models produced by our design team. You'll also be responsible for detailed progress reporting and Earned Value Management (EVM), making this a unique and rewarding role in the construction industry.

If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge and contribute to the success of our construction projects, we encourage you to apply.
