Description

BakerHicks is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a passion and understanding for the gas industry, including of gas systems, equipment, and technologies, and a desire to get involved in business development.

In this role you will be vital in ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable designs of gas-related projects as well as develop BakerHicks' Gas design capability and capacity, identify new business opportunities, foster partnerships, and expand our presence in the gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Explore our existing Client relationships and Frameworks to win projects and enhance BakerHicks profile in the Gas Industry.
  • Explore internal resources capability to identify key individuals within the company’s existing resource pool.
  • Create, lead and expand a team of gas specialists by selecting existing resources, identifying capability gaps and developing recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and optimize gas systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure that designs meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide specialized technical guidance in the design, installation, and maintenance of gas-related systems and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations.
  • Manage and lead gas industry projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are executed within budget and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure that designs adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, Process or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in gas system design, engineering, and project management within the gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Gas Industry Standards, National Gas Standards, technologies, and regulations.
  • SCO training.
