Description

 

BakerHicks has worked with clients on some of the largest nuclear licensed sites in the UK, designing large scale process and treatment facilities for the safe handling of legacy nuclear materials.
From concept and front end to detailed design, our teams provide the full range of multi-disciplinary design services.

Working onsite with one of BakerHicks’ key client in the Nuclear sector, you will have proven experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering, being responsible for providing technical guidance, collaborating with teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of excellence. 

This role will be hybrid working, 2 days per week on the client site, thus you will need to reside in (or willing to travel to) Glasgow.

 

Key Objective

  • Support Civil, Structural & Architectural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on civil, structural, and architectural engineering aspects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in CS&A engineering.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience in CS&A engineering.
  • Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
  • Experience in critical infrastructure projects is advantageous.
