As our C&S team have expanded, still forming part of our wider C&S team, an ambitious Senior Engineer is required to manage and lead projects within the Power sector as part of this growing department.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working on projects and will be keen to mentor graduate engineers / technicians in both technical design aspects and project management.
A thorough understanding of managing project delivery to quality, cost and programme is essential and experience in the power sector is highly desirable.
Key Objectives
- Manage and deliver single- and/or multi-disciplinary projects to cost, schedule and quality criteria
- Lead aspects of infrastructure design work on a range of project sizes
- Mentor, train and develop engineers, technicians, graduates and apprentices.
- Contribute to wider development of the C&S (Power team) department capabilities
Requirements
- HNC/ HND Civil Engineering and / or recognised Civil Engineering Degree
- Professional membership of an appropriate body (ICE, APM, CIHT, IHE etc.), or actively in the process of achieving this
- Experience in managing project delivery
- Experienced and competent in leading project teams
- Technically competent in Infrastructure design and co-ordination.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Full UK Driving Licence
