Job Title: Communications Advisor

Location: Whitehaven

Summary of the Role:

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure's Nuclear Business Unit is seeking a Communications Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of our business communications plan and campaigns through various channels. You will work under the guidance of communications business partners and/or the head of communications to execute tasks aligned with our communications strategy.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate closely with communications business partners and the wider delivery team to support the creation and execution of business communications and campaigns.
  • Deliver project tasks that align with the communications strategy, with direction from communications business partners and/or head of communications.
  • Create engaging content and provide advisory support to teams.
  • Manage and relay information in meetings with key stakeholders regarding communication plan deliverables, as needed.
  • Lead projects with support and guidance from communications business partners and/or head of communications.
  • Work within teams and independently, adapting to periods of lone working.
  • Support the conception and execution of corporate events.

To Thrive in the Role You Will Have:

  • Previous experience in an internal communications or marketing role is desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to transform complex technical content into clear, concise, and engaging copy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Creative thinking and proactive approach to delivery.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage workload effectively.
  • A good and creative understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint.
