Location: Rugby or London / Hybrid

Overview:

Reporting to the People Director and working in collaboration with the business units the role will develop and deliver a strategy to support our long-term capability requirements. You will lead the attraction and recruitment strategy for early careers and execute the development programmes for each new entrant and existing workforce pathways

 

The Person:

  • Previous experience and proven competence in applying effective Learning and Development within an organisation with strengths in Early Careers.
  • Experience of Apprenticeship standards, requirements for End Point Assessment and managing levy
  • Experience of attracting and recruiting Early Careers candidates
  • CIPD accreditation desirable but not essential
  • Able to work confidentially and independently with sensitive company information

 

The Role:

  • Working with businesses to develop and lead on the strategy for the attraction, recruitment and onboarding across the entire emerging talent pipeline for Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.
  • Develop strong relationships with our preferred learning providers with the ambition to make us an Employer of choice
  • Develop and manage our strategy for undergraduates which will include placements and financial sponsorship arrangements.
  • Engaging with the key stakeholders internally and externally to promote apprenticeship activity, increasing awareness of the benefits they bring to the business and individuals.
  • Effective review and management of the apprenticeship levy.
  • Understanding of social learning platforms and blended learning solutions.
  • Successfully onboard and induct Early Careers into their programmes
  • Compiling and producing regular progress reports and report on key metrics and data.
  • Develop and manage apprentice and graduate programmes in line with business and professional body needs, obtaining regular feedback from all stakeholder to fuel continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage pastoral care requirements for all early entrant delegates.
  • Collaborate with Skills Builder to acquire Gold mark of excellence to support our inclusion and responsible business strategy
  • Establish a network of good providers and standards to support business needs and create sustainable relationships with third party providers and partners
  • Support and coach learners to successfully complete their End point assessment
  • Developing strategies and interventions in line with stakeholder needs, strategic workforce plans and building skills for the future
