Location: Manchester

Duration: 1-year Fixed Term Contract

Qualifications Required by Summer 2024:

  • BSc (Hons) Digital Media and Communication OR;
  • BA (Hons) Future Media Production OR;
  • BA (Hons) Digital Media Design

Opportunities:

We are looking for a Junior Multimedia Creative who will be responsible for producing multimedia and graphics content across bids, pitches, design and sales. The role will report to the Multimedia Manager but will work closely across internal teams to ensure all content aligns with the company brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing engaging online content including videos, infographics, 3D motion and animations to support bid documents and pitches
  • Foremost, be the technical support needed for the team, learn about new tech and be the expert person who knows what’s coming next
  • Explore and develop AI platforms and integrate into the team
  • Be the main camera operator in the team and have good working knowledge of equipment and filming techniques
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, whilst also building on experience and constructive feedback to develop further
  • Support the Multimedia Manager with the video and animation production processes, and work closely with projects leads to storyboard and create professional multimedia content
  • Keeping abreast of new technologies, and digital marketing trends; implementing these new technologies into marketing campaigns, presentations and pitches.
  • Create original artwork for digital image processing
  • Recording, editing and encoding audio files
  • Help to maintain the multimedia library 
  • Create and manage websites, including weekly updates

Skills Required

  • A good eye for design, layout, typography and detail, with foundational skills in Graphic Design, deploying these skills throughout content.
  • Experience of motion graphics and animation
  • Experience/knowledge of Adobe CC, including Premiere Pro Adobe, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft office suite
  • A team player, wants to share ideas! hands on – wants to get stuck in to work whilst learning more on the job
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot technology
  • Gaming software knowledge
  • Proactive
  • Imagination and creativity
  • Analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail
  • Must be a multi tasker, who can manage several projects and deadlines

Desired Skills

  • 3D skills such as, 3DS Max, SketchUp
  • Experience of Unreal Engine, AR & VR
  • Live streaming setup and operation (to multiple destinations simultaneously)
  • Green screen experience
  • Podcast setup, recording, editing, upload and syndication
