All Together Cumbria (ATC), a community interest company owned by Morgan Sindall, are seeking a Social Impact Manager who will be responsible for the setting and delivery of our social impact strategy aligned to our vision, mission, areas of focus and the needs of the local community.

The role will be a mixture of working from home, within our Morgan Sindall Infrastructure office at Westlakes Science Park and delivering programmes at venues throughout West Cumbria. You will be a key member of the All Together Cumbria Team, reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager.
Key responsibilities
Performing community needs assessment and community landscaping exercise to determine the needs of the local community and identify key strategic projects that help meet/reduce these needs.
Develop and deliver the annual Skills and Employ ability plan, identifying partners for collaborative delivery.
Build and maintain collaborative networks with key local stakeholders to identify potential opportunities that support the strategic objectives of the social impact strategy.
Support the Social Enterprise Manager in the identification and development of the business case to the management board to determine which community projects should be supported and how/where surplus funds should be invested.
Review, monitor and provide regular social impact updates for key stakeholders on the performance of each social impact project and any recommendations for improvements.
Measure social impact outcomes and produce an annual report, detailing the social value and outcomes obtained from the Skills and Employ ability plan.
Share best practice and support with both the Nuclear team and the Enhancing Communities team within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.
Remain informed of developments in social value measurement and the delivery of skills and employ-ability programmes to shape and continuously improve our social value offer.
Key requirements
- You will be an excellent communicator and be able to develop and maintain strategic collaborative relationships with a variety of key stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of the local West Cumbria area, with an expectation to widen knowledge to reach other parts of Cumbria.
- Previous experience of successful delivery of complex, social value projects and associated budgets.
- Proven experience of successfully managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Formal project management qualification – desirable but not essential.
