Are you an experienced and motivated Senior/Supply Chain Manager looking for your next challenge? Join our Energy Business at Morgan Sindall, where you will play a key role in maximising value through the strategic management and development of our subcontractor and material supply chain.

Working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, Commercial and Project Teams you will develop and lead the implementation of the Morgan Sindall Supply Chain Strategy, and the development of the Business Unit Supply Chain Plan. You’ll provide expert support in supply chain engagement, selection, development, and performance management, while also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks related to the supply chain function.

Supply Chain management and engagement in the Energy Business Unit is considered underdeveloped at this stage, especially in the areas of Substations, and therefore the role status will be reviewed on and ongoing basis as activities progress and opportunities become more clear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain function.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to ensure that the supply chain function is meeting its targets and objectives.
  • Demonstrate expertise in subcontract procurement coupled with an understanding of subcontract forms, their interpretation and ability to negotiate individual terms on behalf of Morgan Sindall.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) accreditation (preferred).
  • Previous experience in supply chain management, preferably in the Energy or Power Transmission industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and vendor management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that support business goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

If you are a motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a passion for excellence, innovation and sustainability, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
