Please note: Our office location in Rugby, we will be changing to Coventry (M6 J2) later this year (quarter 4).

Are you passionate about data, ensuring its accuracy, and leveraging insights to drive business decisions and shape cultural behaviours? If so, we might have the perfect role for you.

We are seeking a detail-orientated and organised data coordinator to join our in-house plant and transport team, Magnor Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating data and information in ways that support and enable meaningful analysis and decision-making across our business.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders (supply chain partners and internal teams) to provide actionable insights, manage data processes, and promote best practices in data management.

Your contributions will directly impact our business strategies and help to ensure compliance with our standards and legislation. 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting data and identifying key trends to provide actionable insights for the business
  • Coordinating and managing data gathering, inputting, updating, cleansing, processing, and reporting
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to align report formats with business objectives
  • Developing and implementing a structure for data reporting, ensuring the timely issue to designated champions within the business
  • Interacting and collaborating with suppliers (Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)), the supply chain, and colleagues to develop and maintain positive and supportive relationships
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with GDPR regarding all company-related data
  • Conducting research and preparing management information for presentation to teams (project and leadership)
  • Promoting best practice and troubleshooting any data-related issues
  • Proactively undertaking basic data analysis to provide valuable insights that support business decisions
  • Providing support for team members in data-related project work assignments
  • Ensuring all data is accurate, well-managed and regular quality checks are completed.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI and experience in data manipulation and migration
  • Proven experience in preparing management reports and working with external platforms
  • Understanding of GDPR and data standards
  • Previous experience as a data coordinator or data-related role
  • A business administration-related qualification is desirable

  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Some supervisory skills and knowledge of construction practices are advantageous

About Magnor Plant

Magnor Plant is Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s in-house plant and transport business. Although we primarily support the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure division of Morgan Sindall Group, we also support other divisions within the Group, and the data gathered within this role will contribute to our Morgan Sindall Group Reporting requirements.

Magnor Plant works collaboratively across all sectors to provide innovative, specialist plant, equipment, mobile site welfare, and transport solutions and products to support our projects.
