- Managing all aspects of the contract to a successful conclusion
- Leading site teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality
- Drive project planning, execution and reporting, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Nuclear Safety Standards.
- Provide leadership, direction and mentoring/coaching to the project team including Delivery Partners, fostering a culture of trust, safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the supply chain
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance
- Monitoring and reporting project performance and proactively managing risks and opportunities
- Promoting innovation and knowledge sharing across teams and suppliers
Skills & Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager delivering major projects within the Nuclear or other highly regulated industries (defence, energy or infrastructure) is desirable.
· MEICA Engineering background preferred but not essential.
· Strong background working as a management contractor with experience representing the clients interest.
· CSCS card holder
· Chartered membership of a professional institution (desirable)
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Excellent planning, organisation, and time management abilities
· Sound knowledge of the construction industry and relevant standards
· In-depth understanding of project/construction management, contract administration (NEC preferred) and project controls.
· Ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
· A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety
· Able to achieve Security Clearance
