The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the commercial lead for a geographically focused team. You’ll provide accurate and timely commercial reports, manage subcontract accounts, and ensure the contract meets cost, quality, and time targets.


What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of commercial reporting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with contract and company processes
  • Prepare and submit main contract payment applications
  • Manage subcontract accounts, including procurement, payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Identify and price variations in line with change control processes
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Build strong relationships with delivery managers and stakeholders
  • Support health, safety, and environmental standards across the team

What We’re Looking For

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent commercial discipline
  • Working towards professional membership (RICS/CIOB)
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge across various forms of contract
  • Experience managing quantity surveyors on large contracts
  • Skilled in negotiation and dispute resolution
  • Familiarity with commercial systems (e.g., COINS, Sphere)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
