Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a passionate, collaborative, and highly organised specialist to help bring ED&I and PLACE to life across Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.
You’ll be someone who thrives on connection, coordination, and communication with a strong interest in inclusion, culture, and engagement. If you enjoy translating strategy into practical action, building relationships across diverse groups, and shaping meaningful employee experiences, this secondment is for you.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting, hands-on role within our Organisational Development team, reporting to the Head of Organisational Development.
You’ll play a key part in delivering our divisional People ED&I Strategy and embedding the PLACE framework consistently across MSI. Working closely with employee networks, leaders, the Communications team, and the wider People function, you will coordinate campaigns, share stories, support engagement activities, and help ensure ED&I is visible, practical, and deeply woven into everyday behaviours.
A major part of the role is strengthening alignment and collaboration across all ED&I networks helping them work together, share insight, and amplify their impact.
What You’ll Do
PLACE Implementation & Engagement
- Support the rollout and embedding of the PLACE framework across MSI
- Coordinate PLACE communications, events, and engagement activities
- Develop toolkits, resources, and stories that bring PLACE to life
- Support the implementation and engagement of PLACE Champions across MSI
- Help leaders and teams translate PLACE into everyday inclusive behaviours
Inclusion Delivery & Coordination
- Support delivery of the divisional ED&I action plan
- Coordinate inclusion campaigns, awareness days, and engagement events
- Provide support to employee networks and help align their activity across MSI
- Facilitate collaboration across networks, including sharing best practice and celebrating impact
- Help embed inclusive practices across divisional People Function
- Maintain digital inclusion content and resources on internal platforms
Communications & Storytelling
- Create engaging, accessible content that promotes ED&I and PLACE
- Work with divisional and business unit Communications teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Capture and share stories that showcase diversity, collaboration, and inclusive culture
- Support communication planning for ED&I and PLACE events, briefings, and campaigns
Data, Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Track participation and engagement across ED&I and PLACE initiatives
- Gather feedback from employees, networks, and leaders to drive continuous improvement
- Support reporting and storytelling of ED&I and PLACE progress for divisional updates and People reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting or coordinating ED&I, engagement, culture, or communications activity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to create accessible and inclusive messaging
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident using digital collaboration tools and internal communication platforms
- Passionate about inclusion, belonging, and turning values into visible action
- Ability to build relationships and connect people across diverse teams and networks
- Awareness of ED&I legislation and best practice
