We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Quality Assurance Manager to join our team, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Role Responsibilities
- Establishing a right-first-time culture across the project team that puts quality at the heart of project delivery.

- Ensuring the project team implements appropriate quality management arrangements, supported by competent resources and clear delivery plans.
- Ensuring quality systems and processes are fully aligned with business requirements.
- Developing and managing a business unit and sector-specific audit plan, including quality-related investigations such as root cause analysis (RCA).
- Establishing procedures to capture lessons learned across the project team and monitor the implementation of continual improvements.

- Supporting quality meetings and forums by developing and presenting training and performance reports.
- Establishing effective working relationships with clients, business units, and leadership teams, while providing guidance to Quality Assurance Advisors to support their duties.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a history of successful management in complex, multi-interface organisations.
- Construction industry experience with knowledge and experience of working in the Extra High Voltage energy sector.
- Ability to self-manage time effectively to deliver the agreed assurance programme.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with all interested parties to ensure that the assurance activities are thorough and effective.

About the Energy Business Unit
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
