  • Work closely with the Business Unit Finance team to align reporting approaches and support efficient, timely month‑end reporting, ideally through rolling processes to minimise month‑end activity.
  • Lead and coordinate all external audit activity in collaboration with the Business Unit Finance team.
  • Support project forecast reviews, including preparation and analysis of cash call information and ongoing projections.
  • Prepare information for, and contribute to, monthly Business Unit contract review meetings alongside senior leadership, including the Enterprise Director and Preconstruction & Commercial Director.
  • Provide financial reporting and data analysis to support a busy and complex programme of work.
  • Lead and manage a team of cost administrators.
  • Collaborate effectively across Operational and Commercial teams.
  • Work with the Project Commercial Team to compile and collate commercial reporting data for submission to the Central Finance Team.
  • Manage personal workload within strict reporting timetables to meet both client and Morgan Sindall deliverables.

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong ability to compile, interpret and provide routine financial information.
  • Ability to deliver work efficiently while maintaining a consistent, high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Qualified or Part‑Qualified ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
