Quality Assurance Advisor

Coventry / Hybrid

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑focused Quality Assurance Advisor to support the effective management, reporting and continuous improvement of our quality and SHEQ systems. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of system administration, data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
 
As a Quality Assurance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting reporting, data visualisation and the ongoing maintenance of our core management systems, including the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Evolve. You will help ensure system accuracy, legal compliance and continual improvement, while contributing to wider SHEQ activities across the business.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Produce regular performance reports, including the weekly WAG report.
  • Develop and maintain data visualisations within Evolve to support insight, analysis and decision‑making.

Systems Management & Administration

  • Support the ongoing management, maintenance and change control of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Maintain and update IMS documentation, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of future IMS improvements.

Evolve System (Incident, Investigation, Inspection & Audit Management)

  • Act as the main system administrator.
  • Implement system updates and business‑driven improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Unit administrators to ensure system performance and consistency.
  • Lead monthly review meetings with the system provider (currently Evotix).
  • Support wider system development activities as required.

Legal Register & Compliance

  • Maintain and regularly update the Environmental and Health & Safety legal register.
  • Ensure legal updates are communicated effectively across the business.

Quality & SHEQ Support

  • Participate in quality meetings and support wider SHEQ initiatives.
  • Undertake additional duties aligned to quality assurance and continuous improvement where required.

 Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a quality, assurance, systems or SHEQ‑related role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 management systems (desirable).
  • Experience of system administration and data reporting/visualisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously without compromising quality or standards.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to support and influence colleagues to contribute to project and operational performance.
  • Appreciation of corporate strategy, values and objectives.

Qualifications & Professional Memberships

  • Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) membership.
  • Relevant vocational or professional qualifications in quality, SHEQ or a related discipline.
