We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Transformation Specialist to join our Shared Services team, supporting the creation and delivery of a robust transformation pipeline. This role will play a key part in driving continuous improvement and ongoing transformation, helping to enhance efficiency, standardisation, and value across shared services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, automation, and efficiency improvements, including the development of value propositions and ROI assessments.
  • Re‑engineer processes to maximise automation potential, restore stakeholder confidence, and recommend appropriate RPA and AI solutions or strategies.
  • Lead the capture and documentation of “As‑Is” process maps, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage the automation pipeline, triaging opportunities and redirecting change initiatives to the appropriate business functions where required.
  • Support process redesign and the development of “To‑Be” automated process descriptions.
  • Conduct RPA high‑level assessments to evaluate feasibility, benefits, and risks.
  • Identify and recommend fit‑for‑purpose automation solutions aligned to business and technology requirements.
  • Develop high‑level project plans for automation and implementation initiatives.
  • Provide regular and transparent updates to RPA stakeholders, the Finance Transformation Lead, and the Head of Finance & Transformation throughout project delivery.
  • Provide leadership, governance, and change enablement, supporting successful adoption of automation and transformation initiatives across the organisation.

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven history of delivering automation initiatives, including end‑to‑end RPA or digital transformation projects.
  • Relevant higher education qualification in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a similar automation, process improvement, or transformation role
  • In‑depth knowledge of business process analysis and process re‑engineering methodologies
  • Strong ability to decompose complex processes into logical, end‑to‑end process flows.
  • Competent in using process mapping tools, such as MS Visio or equivalent software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of RPA, AI, and automation technologies, and their practical application.
  • Experience with leading automation platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or ABBYY (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise business processes and experience working with ERP systems.
