Would you like to work for an inclusive and collaborative company which is also one of the most successful within the UK infrastructure industry?

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major National Grid infrastructure project based in Oswestry. This is a high-profile scheme within an ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) environment, offering long-term work certainty over the next 4–5 years.

This role provides the chance to take ownership of a significant energy project in a central location, with clear visibility and exposure to senior leadership. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project from pre-construction through to completion
  • Manage programme, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement across all project phases
  • Drive performance across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial objectives are met
  • Work closely within an ECI framework, influencing design, planning and delivery strategies
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role within infrastructure or energy projects
  • Strong background working with National Grid or similar utilities frameworks
  • Experience across substations, underground cabling, or overhead line (OHL) projects
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major long-term programme, delivering critical energy infrastructure while developing your career within a highly visible and strategically important role.
